Alumichem is pleased to welcome Christian Wieth as Head of Sales, Engineering. Christian brings more than 30 years of experience in biotechnology, water treatment, innovation and commercial development.
Christian joins Alumichem with strong experience in bringing technical solutions from development to market and building new business around them. Before joining Alumichem, Christian spent 29 years with Novo Nordisk and Novozymes, working across business development, market growth and international partnerships. He later joined AquaGreen, where he helped develop the company from an early-stage scale-up into an international water and climate technology provider. His responsibilities included sales, market development, partnerships, tenders and contract negotiations, as well as supporting commercial plant projects and international collaborations.
Throughout his career, Christian has worked closely with scientists, engineers, customers and industry partners. His focus is on turning strong technical performance into solutions that deliver clear value for customers.
Christian has also been active in the wider water and environmental technology sector, including serving as Chairman of the Biosolids Working Group at Biochar Europe and speaking at international industry conferences.
At Alumichem, Christian will support the continued growth of our engineered solutions across water treatment, resource recovery, aquaculture and other environmental applications.
