New business location in Belgium

On January 2nd Alumichem opened a new business location at Bluechem. Alumichem Belgium is the latest addition to our corporate structure and will focus on European sales and business development opportunities outside Scandinavia. Bluechem – the prestigious Antwerp incubator for sustainable chemistry – is a cooperation of the Flemish government, the city of Antwerp and Catalisti, the cluster of the chemical & plastics industry in Belgium (www.bluechem.be). 

There are multiple synergies possible between Alumichem’s innovation projects and companies working in Bluechem’s ecosystem. Aquaculture sludge treatment and chlor-free water treatment with PAN are just a few examples.

Alumichem Belgium will focus on applications across both the traditional and cutting-edge water treatment aspects. It will amongst other things emphasis on the expertise of Alumichem in paint detackification and the development of Aluminates.
