Alumichem are seeking MSc students and university supervisors for collaborative thesis projects.

University supervisors interested in developing collaborative MSc thesis project proposals with Alumichem are welcome to contact Skage Reidar Hem, Director of Research & Innovation.

Project ideas

We are open to discuss potential projects in the field of:

  • Process optimization of polyaluminate production: characterization of different types of raw materials, intermediates and products
  • Process optimization of polyaluminate production: experimental investigation of process constraints  
  • Process optimization of aluminum chloride production: characterization and testing of different types of raw materials, intermediates and products
  • Process optimization of aluminum chloride production: experimental investigation of process constraints  
  • Process optimization of sodium aluminate production: characterization and testing of different types of raw materials, intermediates and products
  • Process optimization of sodium aluminate production: experimental investigation of process constraints  
  • Error propagation in QAQC laboratory operations: quantification of uncertainty in the analytical chain

These projects will relate and it will beneficial with cooperation between the students. These projects will mostly take place in our facilities in Kalundborg.
